Gleistein Ropes flexes its muscles at OTC in Houston, Texas (Hall B, Booth 3915-1)

Offshore and heavy lifting solutions from Gleistein on show in the German Pavilion at the world’s largest fair for offshore technology

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), being held in Houston, Texas 1-4 May 2017, is the world’s largest fair for offshore technology, bringing together the who’s who of the industry. Gleistein will be present at this year’s event with a team of dedicated offshore and heavy lifting specialist to present its industry specific range. Among the topics creating a buzz will be the recent world-record lift of more than 3,000 metric tons by the ALE AL.SK350 crane as part of an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) vessel integrations project in Brazil deploying slings made of Gleistein’s 128mm DynaOne® with Dyneema® SK78 fibres. Gleistein also enjoys a leading market position for lifting solutions in the fast-growing wind energy market – both on and offshore. In addition, the high performance lines from the X-Twin series along with the outstanding X-Twin Dyneema® SSC Cover put solutions by Gleistein at the forefront of strength and durability under even the harshest conditions.
