Winners at the Kieler Woche

Team Schadewaldt Baumann takes its 49er to the top in Kiel

What a week of sailing! The Gleistein Ropes sponsored team of Tobias Schadewaldt and Hannes Baumann have taken first place honours in the 49er division at the renowned Kieler Woche 2011 held in northern Germany at the end of June. The winning pair left all others in their wake and are now also on target to qualify for the 2012 Olympics in London. But they are not going to rest on their laurels for long: Schadewaldt and Baumann will be on the waters in Helsinki again in early July for the 49er European Championships.
