Mar Mostro wins Leg 6 of the Volvo Ocean Race

With back-to-back wins over the last two legs and a third-place finish in the Miami In-Port Race, PUMA’s Mar Mostro is just 14 points from the head of the fleet as racing started on Leg 7. Fully equipped with ropes from Gleistein, the PUMA yacht outsailed its opponents in the 4,800 nautical mile Leg 6 from Itajaí, Brazil to Miami, USA in 17 days, 1 hour, 13 minutes, 59 seconds to finish ahead of the CAMPER team that came in second. We wish the PUMA team all the best as they make their way across the Atlantic to Lisbon where they are expected reach port at the end of May.
