Construction
- Core 12-strand braid of Dyneema® SK78 fibres
- Intermediate cover of Polyester staple fibre 24- or 32-plait cover of HT continuous filament Polyester yarns in fluo-yellow or fluopink with navy blue markers.
- Gleistein’s orange identification yarn
- Diameters available from 8-16 mm. Other sizes to order
Good to know
- Similar strength and stretch to steel wire rope
- Abrasion resistant outer cover particularly suitable for stoppers
- Very stable cross-section
- Dyneema® SK78 is a fibre with dramatically reduced creep if compared with SK75. Long-Term halyard readjustment will be unnecessary in most cases
- Dyneema® ropes can be tapered by the removal of sections of outer cover.
